The working principle of the residential LiFePO₄ battery energy storage system is as follows:
When the main power supply is normal, the inverter operates normally, supplying power to household loads (as shown in the figure) while simultaneously charging the battery pack.
When both utility power and photovoltaic power are unavailable, the battery pack provides uninterrupted power to the inverter, ensuring normal operation of household electricity.
When power is restored, the battery pack resumes charging while household loads are powered again.
